The dogwood flowers in my backyard prompted me to create this pretty pattern! I tested a few different versions before coming up with flowers that looked realistic and still worked up quickly.
You can get the printable version of the pattern HERE.
Here are my first prototypes:

This is one of the most relaxing/ meditative crochet patterns I’ve made. The process reminded me of drawing a still life in art class. There was something really soothing about observing these delicate flowers and creating them with yarn!

Your Dogwood flowers are beautiful. You are a very talented lady!
Thank you so much for the kind words!
Gorgeous flowers. They bring spring in the house. Thanks for sharing the pattern.
Thank you! I hate to cut too many blooms off of the tree. This way I can enjoy them inside too!
They are BEAUTIFUL thanks for sharing, I love all your flowers. 😉💖
Thank you! I love making flowers lately (:
I have begun to crochet this lovely flower. One question. The petal instructions you say are rows one to ten. When you count the stitches you end up with the correct amount in each row but please note you number them 1 2 3 4 5 7 8 9 10. Therefore only 9 rows!!
Thanks for pointing that out! I’ll take a look at that and see what’s wrong with the pattern.
They are so beautiful and you are so talented 😀
Thank you so much!
